Why Dani Osmeña enjoys designing for weddings
Dani Osmeña’s love for fashion was the impetus to be a designer, but just as she launched her brand in 2019, COVID struck, putting a brake on her business.

Despite this setback, she continued to go forward with her brand as a way of addressing the gap in minimalist and functional formal wear. She shared, “I wanted to highlight the woman in the dress rather than the outfit itself by creating pieces that were classic and elegant, perfectly complementing the wearer.
My favorite part of being a designer is all the people I get to meet, especially when working on a wedding entourage. It’s always fun getting to know the bride’s family over a series of fittings and it’s so rewarding to see the photos of their special day and get to be a part of it by dressing them.”

Running and owning her brand, Dani appreciates the flexibility that it brings as this allows her to be a hands-on mom to her precocious year-old daughter, Luna, and a new addition this year.
