Jurgen Klopp Repeatedly Swipes At Manchester United As Former Liverpool Manager Laughs At Shocking Decline
Manchester United’s Premier League woes continue, as the club looks to recover from its post-Ferguson slump.
The Red Devils have struggled to compete in recent years, falling from Premier League and Champions League challengers to relegation candidates.
Last season, Manchester United reached a new low, finishing 15th in the league and losing in the Europa League final.
With such a sluggish start to the season, Ruben Amorim faces an uphill battle with United, which he is currently fighting.
Man United’s demise has coincided with the ascent of several of its greatest competitors.
That includes Liverpool, which began a rebuilding process under Jurgen Klopp and has since become one of the world’s top teams.
Even after all these years, the former Liverpool manager appears to be mocking Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp chuckles at Manchester United’s downfall in a Red Bull interview.
Jurgen Klopp has done a lot to please Liverpool fans while also frustrating Manchester United fans.
After winning numerous trophies during his tenure at Anfield, the German coach decided to leave the club in 2024.
Despite the fact that he has been out of the position for more than a year, it appears that the former Liverpool player still has a rivalry with Manchester United.
Speaking with The Athletic regarding his move to the Red Bull organization as Head of Global Soccer, he stated, “We are not the final destination.”
Before swiping at the Red Devils with: “We are not Liverpool…or in former times Man United!”, the piece revealed his laughing at the comment. He continued, “You can write that if you want.”
It demonstrates that, even after moving on, Klopp retains a small amount of rivalry with Manchester United.
However, it demonstrates how far the club has fallen that others are so comfortable criticizing its collapse.
