‘I’ll improve every year!’ – Lamine Yamal issues terrifying warning to opponents as Ballon d’Or candidate admits destroying Real Madrid was a childhood ‘dream’

WHAT HAPPENED?
Yamal is set to turn 18 years old next month, and it’s mind-boggling how he already has over 100 appearances for Barcelona. The youngster was convinced that there’s still a lot of scope for him to grow and improve as a footballer, despite becoming one of the leading contenders to win the Ballon d’Or at such a tender age.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 17-year-old enjoyed an incredible season for both club and country, scoring 21 goals and registering 25 assists in 62 games. His contributions helped Barcelona beat Real Madrid to the La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de Espana trophies, while he also played a big hand in Spain reaching the final of the Nations League.
WHAT LAMINE YAMAL SAID
Speaking in the documentary Inside Barca, Yamal said: “Because of my age, I’ll improve every year because my body will grow and the difference with other opponents will be more noticeable. I’ll be more comfortable on the pitch.”
He also shared that he had dreamt of beating Madrid ever since he was a kid. He said: “Helping against Real Madrid is always something very special, something you dream about since you’re a kid. The team is very competitive; we’ve proven that.
In the Clasico, you have extra motivation, and we left the Whites without touching the ball for 25 minutes in our own half. At Camp Nou, it will be even easier for people to come and enjoy it.”
WHAT NEXT FOR LAMINE YAMAL?
Yamal is currently enjoying his vacation, where he is reportedly accompanied by OnlyFans model Fati Vazquez, which has stirred up quite a lot of controversy on social media. The teenage boy wonder will return to pre-season duties next month with Barcelona.
