‘He’s busy attacking Obi’, say netizens, as Omokri’s wife says he doesn’t visit special needs son

Tuokpe Onuwaje, the ex-wife of former presidential aide Reno Omokri, has accused him of not spending time with his son, who has special needs.
In a Facebook post, Onuwaje stated that Omokri spends time with the boy’s siblings but ignores him, noting that the last time he visited was in 2024.
She wrote, “Reno Omokri, stop showing up just for photo ops—show up for real life. Our son with special needs is waiting for quality time with his dad, not just the fleeting visits you do with his siblings. You haven’t seen or spent time with your son since June 2024! Over a year!
“Prioritise meaningful moments over social media validation. Be present, be involved, and be a constant in your children’s lives.
Real parenting happens in the everyday moments, not just in staged photos. Put down the camera!”
Reacting, her followers on Facebook told her that the reason Omokri has not had time for their son is because he’s dedicating his time to attacking former presidential candidate Peter Obi on social media.
Emmanuel Maledo Snr said, “If he attends to family, how will he have enough time to attack Peter Obi. Madam manage abeg. Bringing Peter Obi down is more important than you and your children.”
Diribe Lilian Chinwe said, “So Reno is this irresponsible yet he wouldn’t let us rest with Peter Obi this and that. What a shameless man.”
Sa Rah said, “Having a special needs child is no joke, you need all hands and resources to carter for them. Reno is busy on socials instead of being there truly for his kids. It is well.”
Chinenye Ofoegbu Anazor said, ” I have been your friend on this space and you hardly call him out. For you to do this, you should be commended. I wish Reno will expend the energy he’s using to talk lies against Peter Obi on his family. May God continue to strengthen you. You are doing well raising the kids all by yourself.”
Njoku Ndudiri Wisdom said, “I suggest you Tuokpe Onuwaje take a picture with Mr. Peter Obi and post it so that the likes of Adeyanju Deji Farooq Kperogi and this your gospeller runaway husband would see please.”
Mbelu Lilian Amarachi Orji said, “When I tell people that social media Life is different from real life. Who would have believed that Reno would be exhibiting this kind of attitude and behaviour towards his family. It’s well Sis. May God strengthen you on every sides.”
