According to Donald Trump, Iran could “make $500 million dollars a day” with the open strait
US President Donald Trump believes a deal with Iran will be impossible if the naval blockade is lifted.
“Iran doesn’t want the Strait of Hormuz closed, they want it open so they can make $500 million dollars a day.
They only say they want it closed because I have it totally blockaded, so they merely want to ‘save face’,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social page. “But if we do that, there can never be a deal with Iran,” he added.
