Speaking in a recent episode of the YACN podcast, the Zanku crooner said after he gained prominence in 2019, he bought a house for his parents in a Lagos highbrow neighbourhood, Lekki, but they refused the gift because they were unsure of the source of his wealth, which appeared sudden to them.

The singer said his parents didn’t believe he acquired the expensive mansion with just musical earnings.

“When I blew up in 2019, I bought my first house in Lekki and decided to gift it to my parents. I called them on the phone and asked them to come and they were like, ‘A house? That’s not possible.
