Wike heads to Gwagwalada on thank-you visit after area council election

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, is expected in Gwagwalada Area Council for a thank-you visit to stakeholders following the February 21 area council elections.

The visit is aimed at appreciating residents and political stakeholders for their support during the election.

A statement by Wike’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka, also said Kasim Mohammed Ikwa of the Peoples Democratic Party has emerged as the Chairman-elect of the Gwagwalada Area Council.

This is part of the minister’s ‘Thank you tour” across the area councils of the capital city.

On Tuesday, Wike had visited Abaji and Kwali area councils.
